Wonderful campground! Has very nice spots with decks, swings, tables and chairs with umbrellas and fire pits! Very friendly staff and clean restrooms and laundry. Also two hot tubs and an exercise room. The staff are very friendly and the store is well stocked. Also has a nice gift shop. I highly recommend this KOA!
Great place to camp and stay, lots of activities on site, great location. Pancakes all you can eat is great! Only negative side is keeping the pot head at the counter to stay focused on what your talking about.
Staff is awesome and helpful. We were there during a late season blizzard, with our brand new RV we had just picked up in Denver. Had a foot of snow plowed off our site before we could back in! Beautiful views. Restrooms and showers very clean. Will stay here again!
Great campground!!! Great facilities! Dog park was very large giving my German Shepard plenty of room to play. The dog park gate needs some adjustments because when she jumped on the gate it came unlatched. Staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs. While dry camping in the mountains during elk season I could get my propane cylinder's filled there at a reasonable price.
Stayed here for a few days. I'm surprised not many people mentioned the hot tubs. The front wall has 2 huge barn doors that open fully to the outside. It was so nice looking out at the snow and feeling the chilly air but relaxing in the hot tub! Showers and bathrooms were clean, laundry room is nice and roomy yet slightly expensive. The drive up was a little scary/ steep. Oh, and the park overlooks central city with beautiful views of the old mining town!
